LG Optimus F60 Power Button Replacement

This guide will help you replace the power button on your LG Optimus F60 in approximately 2-4 minutes.

Step 1 | Battery

Position the small plastic opening tool or your finger under the lip of the phone, near the USB port.

  • Pry or lift up gently on the indent with the opening tool.
  • The back panel should now be removable.

Insert small plastic opening tool or finger into indentation at battery's base.

  • Pry upwards or gently lift to dislodge battery.

Step 3 | Power Button

  • Remove the eight 4 mm screws from the inner panel.
  • Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver for this task.

  • Use a plastic opening tool to remove the inner panel.
  • Apply upward force, gently wiggling the tool as you push deeper.
  • Continue until the bottom of the inner panel is removed.

  • Remove the inner panel using a plastic opening tool.
  • Replace the faulty power button with a new one.
