Replacing the charging port requires advanced soldering skills and may take around 25-35 minutes to complete.
Place the phone on a flat surface.
Be careful not to damage the phone's casing.
Remove the back panel.
Locate the indentation at the base of the battery.
Remove the eight 4mm screws with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.
Insert the iFixit opening tool into the indentation.
Locate the iFixit opening tool and insert it under the charging port.
Locate the digitizer connector at the lower left corner.
Locate the charging port on the digitizer.
Use a soldering iron to remove the charging port.
