LG Optimus F3 Back Camera Replacement

This guide explains how to replace the back camera unit in an LG Optimus F3 device.

Remove the battery cover.

  • Unsnap each corner of the cover.
  • The cover should now easily remove.

Remove the ten 1.0 mm back panel screws.

Insert an opening tool into the seams around the rear plastic case.

  • Apply gentle pressure while working your way around the edges.
  • The case should begin to separate, allowing access to its interior.

Locate the camera unit situated in the top-left corner.

Use a plastic opening tool to disconnect the back camera connector from the motherboard.

Step 6

Use the tweezers to pinch the sides of the camera, then pull it up gently.

Step 7

Repair complete.
