LG Optimus Dynamic II L39C Screen Replacement

- You will need to replace the screen.
Step 1 | Remove the back case
Do not insert the tool into the USB port, risk of damage.
- Hold the blue plastic opening tool near the USB opening.
- Pry the case off carefully by pushing down on the tool.
Step 2 | Remove the Battery
Remove the battery from the phone.
- Insert the new battery in its place.
Step 3 | Remove the SD Card
- Pull the SD Card straight out from its slot.
Step 4 | Remove the screws from the midframe
Remove the midframe using the PH #000 screwdriver.
- Locate and remove the six screws.
Step 5 | Remove the midframe
Use the plastic opening tool to carefully pry away the midframe by working your way around the phone's edge.
- Pry from one side, moving slowly towards the center.
- Continue this process on all sides until the midframe is completely removed.
Step 6 | Disconnect the screen from the motherboard
- Disconnect the small orange tab from the motherboard using a plastic opening tool.
- Remove the silver tab, located above the removed orange tab.
Step 7 | Separate the screen and motherboard
Feed the orange and silver tabbed ribbons gently through the hole in the motherboard.
The screen should now be free.
