LG Leon LTE SIM Card Replacement

Replacing the SIM card in an LG Leon LTE requires careful attention to detail.

  • Ensure that you have backed up all essential data on the device.
  • Locate the SIM card slot, typically found at the top of the phone near the volume controls.
  • To access the slot, slide your finger along the edge of the phone and locate a small notch or indentation.
  • Gently pry open the cover by inserting a pointed object, such as an SIM ejector tool, into the notch.
  • Once the cover is open, carefully pull out the SIM card and disconnect it from the SIM card tray.
  • Insert the new SIM card into the slot and reconnect it to the SIM card tray.
  • Replace the SIM card cover by snapping it back into place.

Flip the phone over with the screen facing upwards.

  • Locate the battery situated at the rear of the device.

Using your opening tool, pry the back of the phone open at the incision area.

  • Start at the bottom of the phone.
  • Continue prying upwards until the back panel is removed.

Be careful not to damage the components underneath.

Once the back panel is off, carefully remove the battery to access the SIM card.

Battery removal steps are not shown in this guide.

Locate the SIM card as shown in the third image and proceed with your repair.

Slide the SIM card from the SIM holder using a downward force applied in an outward motion.

A slight force may be required to remove the SIM card from its holder.
