LG Leon LTE Earpiece Speaker Replacement
This guide shows how to replace an earpiece speaker.
Step 1 | Earpiece speaker
Flip the phone over and locate the back.
- The battery is held in place on the rear side, accessible now.
Step 2
Use a plastic spudger to pry the phone's back open from the bottom, moving it upwards.
- Locate the incision area at the bottom of the phone.
- Pry the back open in this area with your tool for access to the battery.
Step 3
Remove the back using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
- Identify and remove the 8 screws.
- Use an opening tool to carefully pry the back frame apart.
Step 4
Remove any remaining components or panels.
- Verify that the motherboard is now exposed.
Step 5
Remove the earpiece with your opening tool.
