LG K7 T-Mobile Rear Phone Camera Replacement

Remove the battery first, then the back controls, to prevent electric shock.

  • Take note of and set aside all screws and the middle button.

Flip the LG K7 over, with the back of the phone facing upwards.

Identify the small notch situated at the bottom left corner of the device.

Insert a plastic opening tool into the notch.

  • Lift the back cover upward.
  • Holding the bottom portion of the phone down, carefully remove it.

Disconnect the battery.

Step 4 | Rear Phone Camera

Locate and remove nine 3.4 mm screws using a Phillips 00 screwdriver.

  • These screws hold the rear housing in place.

Turn the phone over, with the screen facing upwards.

  • Insert a plastic opening tool between the midframe and front panel assembly on one side of the phone.
  • Slide the plastic opening tool down the seams to carefully separate the screen from the rest of the housing.

Locate the ribbon cable securing the camera's ribbon cable.

  • Use a plastic removal tool to carefully remove the camera's ribbon cable from the motherboard.
  • Pull the released camera ribbon upwards, and the camera should dislodge from its case.
