LG K7 T-Mobile Back Controls Replacement

Prevent electric shock by removing the battery first and then the back controls. Ensure all components, including the middle button, are removed along with the back controls to avoid losing them.

Flip the LG K7 over so that the back is facing upwards.

  • Identify the small notch at the bottom left corner.

Insert a plastic opening tool into the notch.

  • Lift the back cover upward.
  • Hold the bottom portion of the phone firmly in place while lifting the back cover.
  • The back cover should now be completely removed.

Disconnect and remove the battery.

Identify the screw retaining the back controls.

  • Employ a Phillips 00 screwdriver to extract the 3.4 mm screw.

Step 5

Use the plastic opening tool to create space between the chrome bezel and the phone's casing.

  • Pry the back buttons upward using the plastic opening tool.
  • Remove the back buttons from the phone's casing.
