LG K10 Rear Camera Replacement

Turn off the device.

• Take out the backing.

Disconnect and remove the battery.

Remove all screws from the bottom of the phone.

• Use a guitar pick to carefully pry off the plastic frame.

Use a pick to gently pry up one edge of the phone.

• Continue lifting the edges until you can access the back panel.
• Repeat on all four sides of the phone for complete removal.

Remove the back panel to access the rear camera, front/rear speakers, and motherboard.

• Continue with the repair once all internal components are exposed.
• Take note of any additional components attached to the motherboard.

• Insert a plastic opening tool under the rear camera's press-fit connector.
• Lift the connector up and away from the motherboard to release the ribbon cable.
• Remove the rear facing camera.
