Damage to the phone's internal components can occur if not done carefully.
Pull the phone out of its body while simultaneously pressing the battery release button.
Press inward with some force, taking care not to damage the surrounding area.
Remove the two 5.5mm Phillips #00 screws from the base of the phone.
Insert the plastic opening tool into the seam between the glass screen and the metal body.
Ensure correct alignment before pushing screen back into place.
Separate the screen from the body.
Remove the six 2.7mm Phillips screws using a #00 Philips head.
Insert plastic opening tool between screen-ribbon-connector and motherboard, and gently pull upwards.
Remove all screws holding the screen in place.
Transfer the earpiece from the old screen to the new screen, as you won't be able to hear calls otherwise.
Do not use force with a pair of tweezers, as this can damage the earpiece.
