Hold the battery release button and pull the bottom of the phone from its casing.

  • Insert the sim card eject tool (0.8mm sim card eject head) into the small hole on the sim card tray.
  • Press inward with some force to eject the tray — risk of damage if excessive pressure applied.

  • Pull the sim card tray out of the phone.

Remove the 2 x 5.5mm Phillips #00 screws from the base of the phone.

Insert the plastic opening tool into the seam between the glass screen and the metal body.

Pry the glass from the body with caution — be careful not to apply too much pressure.

Pry only a slight amount, just enough to create a small gap.

Step 5

Insert a Nylon Spudger into the gap between body and screen.

  • Pull the spudger inward to further separate the screen.
  • Slowly slide the spudger along the phone's edge until the screen detaches.

When reassembling, press down on the edges from top to bottom to secure the screen in place.

Separate the screen from the body.

  • Pry the screen away from the body.
  • The two parts should now be fully detached.

Step 7 | Auxiliary Port

Identify the auxiliary port on the top right of the phone.

  • Use your finger to carefully extract the port.
  • To replace, position the new auxiliary port's hole facing upwards and the gold ribbon towards the left (refer to the provided illustration).
