Familiarize yourself with the device's internal components — risk of damage if handled improperly.
Power down the phone.
Position the plastic opening tool at the lower edge of the battery.
Remove eleven 3.9 mm Phillips #00 screws from the back of the phone.
Be careful not to touch any internal components.
Remove four press-fit connectors using a plastic spudger or opening tool:
The rear-facing camera may be secured with two-sided tape. Gently move the camera with the spudger before lifting the motherboard. If stuck, use the same tool to pry it from the frame carefully to avoid damaging the cable in the next step.
Use a plastic opening tool to carefully lift the motherboard
Insert plastic opening tool under the ribbon near the rear camera cable connector.
Lift slowly until the cable detaches from the motherboard.
