LG G4 Back Cover Replacement
Opening the back cover may cause damage if not done correctly.
- Locate the back cover screws and remove them using a screwdriver.
- Gently pry open the back cover using a plastic spudger.

Power down the phone.
- Insert a plastic opening tool into the groove on the bottom left side of the LG G4.
- Pry up gently to remove the rear cover.
Step 2
Insert the plastic opening tool at the lower edge of the battery, then lift upwards.
Be cautious when handling the battery to avoid injury or damage.
Grasp the battery securely and remove it with your hands.
Step 3
- Remove the 11 x 3.9mm Phillips #00 screws located at the back.
Step 4
Place the plastic opening tool in the lower left corner.
Be careful not to pinch yourself when lifting the cover.
- Firmly lift the cover up using the tool.
- Once loose, detach the cover with your fingers.
