LG G3 Vigor Front Facing Camera Replacement
The LG G3 Vigor's front-facing camera can be replaced with the following steps.
Step 1 | Rear Case
Identify the notch located at the bottom right corner of the phone.
Step 2
Remove the rear case cover by gently pulling it away from the phone.
Step 3 | Battery
Lift the battery out of its slot located at the bottom.
Step 4 | Midframe
Remove the 12 Phillips #00 screws from the midframe.
Step 5
Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry the midframe away from the phone's chassis, starting at one edge and working your way around.
Step 6 | Front Facing Camera
Disconnect the ribbon cable from the motherboard using a spudger.
- Remove the front camera after disconnecting it.
