This guide is for replacing the display assembly in an LG G3 Vigor.
Locate the notch at the bottom right corner of the phone.
Locate and gently remove the back cover from the phone.
Release the battery from its slot at the bottom.
Remove the twelve Phillips #00 screws securing the midframe to the rest of the phone.
Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry the midframe away from the rest of the phone, working your way around its edges.
Disconnect the ribbon cable from the motherboard using a spudger.
Be careful not to damage the ribbon cable.
Disconnect the motherboard ribbon connector using the flat edge of a spudger.
Push the motherboard retaining flaps back using the pointed end of a spudger.
Remove the vibration motor using a spudger.
Some force may be required due to potential adhesive.
Remove the earpiece speaker using a metal spudger, prying it out.
Insert the spudger into the headphone jack and pull upwards.
Peel back the glued-down ribbon cable using a pair of tweezers.
Be careful not to damage any internal components.
Apply heat to the screen's edges using a heat gun or the iFixit iOpener tool.
Remove the screen from the device by pulling the ribbon cables through the hole.
