LG G2 mini LTE Headphone Jack Replacement

Step 1 | Remove the Battery Cover

Place your fingernail in the crease between the back cover and the charging port.

Pry upward carefully to release the back cover.

Step 2 | Remove the Battery

Locate the battery in the battery bay

  • Pry the battery out using your index finger, starting from the groove at the lower end of the battery bay.

Step 3 | Unscrew the Motherboard Cover

Remove screws in total: 10.

  • Use a screwdriver for each removal.

Step 4 | Remove the Motherboard Cover

Insert plastic spudger between cover and screen bezel.

  • Pry along edges, about 1 cm intervals.
  • Continue until cover separates completely.

Step 5 | Remove Headphone jack

Locate the headphone jack.

  • Use a spudger tool to carefully pry it from the bottom.
  • Once loose, use your fingers to fully remove the headphone jack.
