LG G Vista Motherboard Replacement
You'll need a Phillips screwdriver (#000), a small plastic spudger, and tweezers for precise handling. This guide will cover the motherboard replacement process for your LG G Vista.
Step 1 | Battery
Ensure the device has been completely shut down to prevent accidental power-up.
Step 2
Locate and pry open the back cover from the charging port, being gentle to avoid damage.
Step 3
Lift the battery out of its place by prying up from the small notch at the base.
- The notch is located at the base of the battery.
Step 4 | Motherboard
Remove all eight 3.0 mm screws with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.
Step 5
Remove the hard shell to access the motherboard.
Step 6
Use a pair of tweezers to carefully lift up the white antenna wire.
- Lift up the black antenna wire on the opposite side of the logic board.
Step 7
Avoid direct contact with camera lenses.
- Remove the four connectors using the tweezers.
- Carefully extract the back camera from its housing.
Step 8
Lift up the motherboard and remove it from the device.
