LG G Vista Motherboard Replacement

You'll need a Phillips screwdriver (#000), a small plastic spudger, and tweezers for precise handling. This guide will cover the motherboard replacement process for your LG G Vista.

Step 1 | Battery

Ensure the device has been completely shut down to prevent accidental power-up.

Locate and pry open the back cover from the charging port, being gentle to avoid damage.

Lift the battery out of its place by prying up from the small notch at the base.

  • The notch is located at the base of the battery.

Step 4 | Motherboard

Remove all eight 3.0 mm screws with a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

Remove the hard shell to access the motherboard.

Use a pair of tweezers to carefully lift up the white antenna wire.

  • Lift up the black antenna wire on the opposite side of the logic board.

Avoid direct contact with camera lenses.

  • Remove the four connectors using the tweezers.
  • Carefully extract the back camera from its housing.
