Locate the slit on the bottom right side of the phone, or the bottom left side when viewed from the back.

• Pry the back cover off the phone slowly starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top.

• Locate the battery's slot at the center of its bottom edge.
• Pry the battery upward from this slot to remove it from the case.

Remove the screws with a PH000 screwdriver.

• The screws are located at 10 positions and have dimensions of 1.4mm x 4mm.

Grasp the panel on the left side, where it is slightly loose.

Be prepared for slight resistance when removing.

• Pull the panel away from the device to remove it.

Metal spudgers may cause damage — use plastic or fingers instead.

• Separate back and screen using a plastic spudger or your finger.
• Wedge the tool in the upper right corner to create space.
• The speaker will remain on the side of the device, not attached to the screen.

Use the metal spudger to carefully lift the speaker out of its housing, taking care to also remove the attached magnetic tape.
