Locate the slit on the bottom right side of the phone, which is also found at the bottom left when viewed from the back.

• Pry the back cover off starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top.

Insert the pry tool into the slot on the bottom edge of the battery.

Pry gently to avoid damaging the surrounding components.

• Pry upwards, creating enough clearance for removal.
• Lift the battery out of its housing and set it aside.

Remove the ten 4mm screws using a PH000 screwdriver.

• Carefully remove the back panelling with your fingers or a spudger.
• Work slowly side to side to release and expose the motherboard.

Never use the metal spudger for this step, as it may damage the device.

• Unplug the video card from the motherboard with a plastic spudger or opening tool.

Be cautious when using a metal spudger, as it may damage your device.

• Unplug the front facing camera press fit connector from the motherboard by prying upwards with a plastic spudger or opening tool.

Using a metal spudger can damage your device.

• Unplug the rear facing camera ribbon cable from the motherboard by prying up the press fit connector with a non-metal, ESD-safe spudger.

Beware of damaging the motherboard or nearby components.

• Pry off the motherboard using a spudger, starting at the top left corner and working downwards to the bottom right corner.
