LG Escape (p870) Loudspeaker Assembly Replacement
Step 1 | Battery
Turn the device over.
- Pull the back plastic cover off by inserting a fingernail into the opening at the bottom.
- Gently pull the cover away from the phone.
Step 2
From the bottom edge, use your finger to carefully lift out the battery.
- Set the battery aside.
- The following components are now accessible:
- Your SD card
- Your SIM card
- Your device's serial numbers
Step 3 | Loudspeaker Assembly
Remove the four Phillips 00 screws holding the speaker assembly in place.
Step 4
Insert a small flathead screwdriver between the speaker assembly and the rear housing.
Apply gentle pressure to pry the speaker assembly out of the phone, then set it aside.
