LG Enact Motherboard Replacement
Step 1 | Battery
Use the iFixit opening tool to pry open the back cover from the bottom tab.
Step 2
Remove the battery using an iFixit opening tool.
Step 3 | Midframe
Remove the nine 1.2 mm screws from the midframe.
- Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Step 4
Insert the iFixit opening pick into a seam and gently pry outward to begin separating the midframe.
Step 5 | Motherboard
- Unplug all four ports connected to the motherboard.
- Remove both wires from atop the battery.
- Detach the remaining two wires underneath the battery.
Step 6
Use an iFixit opening pick to gently pry out the motherboard.
