LG Enact Charging Port Replacement
Make sure the device is completely powered off before proceeding.
- Replace a faulty charging port on your LG Enact with this guide.
- Ensure a proper connection by following these steps accurately.
Step 1 | Battery
Use an iFixit opening tool to pry open the back cover from the bottom tab.
Step 2
Remove the battery using an iFixit opening tool.
Step 3 | Speaker
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the three 1.2 mm screws securing the speaker.
Step 4
Insert the iFixit opening pick into the speaker's edge and gently pry it loose.
Step 5 | Midframe
Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the nine 1.2 mm screws securing the midframe.
Step 6
Use the iFixit opening pick to gently pry out the midframe.
Step 7 | Motherboard
- Unplug the four motherboard ports.
- Remove the two battery wires from above.
- Disconnect the remaining two battery wires.
Step 8
Use an iFixit opening pick to carefully pry out the motherboard.
Step 9 | Charging Port
Use an iFixit opening pick to carefully remove the orange strip from the charging port.
