LG Ally VS740 Screen Replacement

• Remove the battery.

• Remove the six screws on the outer edge of the phone.

Disconnect the back casing from the phone body.

• Remove the Phillips screw securing the battery compartment cover.

Remove the phone sticker and the screw located underneath.

• Once removed, carefully disconnect the remaining tether.
• The motherboard can now be safely detached.

Remove the keyboard and the rubber caps behind the phone.

• Locate the four screws on the right-hand side, adjacent to where the keyboard sat.
• Remove these screws.

Remove the release clips using a prying tool.

Take off the next layer of the phone.

Release the pop-connectors.

• Disconnect the flex cable from near the speaker.
• Easily remove the yellow cabling on the phone.

• Release the jaw connector.
• Remove the LCD screen to proceed with replacement.
