Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro Battery Replacement
If your phone's battery no longer holds a charge or refuses to charge at all, consider replacing it with a new one.

Step 1 | Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro Backplate Disassembly
Remove Torx head screw set (4.9mm) from the camera plate on the rear of the device.
Step 2
Remove the 3.65 mm Torx head screws from the bottom of the phone.
Step 3
Insert a pin into the small hole on the side of the phone to release the SIM card tray.
- The SIM card tray will eject from the phone.
Step 4
Push the Spudger along the gap between the phone and the backplate to pry them apart.
Step 5
Be careful when pulling the backplate away, as it may be securely attached.
- Pull the backplate gently and evenly away from the phone.
Step 6 | Battery
Remove the protective film by gently peeling it off with your fingers.
Step 7
Use a fingernail or black nylon spudger to carefully remove any adhesive strips holding the battery in place.
- The black nylon spudger is recommended for this task, especially when working with batteries.
Step 8
Disconnect the orange battery ribbon cable by gently lifting it with a spudger.
Step 9
- Locate the battery on your phone.
- Using a fingernail or spudger, carefully pry it loose by lifting upwards on either side.
- Once released, you can remove the battery from its compartment.
