If your phone's battery no longer holds a charge or refuses to charge at all, consider replacing it with a new one.
Remove Torx head screw set (4.9mm) from the camera plate on the rear of the device.
Remove the 3.65 mm Torx head screws from the bottom of the phone.
Insert a pin into the small hole on the side of the phone to release the SIM card tray.
Push the Spudger along the gap between the phone and the backplate to pry them apart.
Be careful when pulling the backplate away, as it may be securely attached.
Remove the protective film by gently peeling it off with your fingers.
Use a fingernail or black nylon spudger to carefully remove any adhesive strips holding the battery in place.
Disconnect the orange battery ribbon cable by gently lifting it with a spudger.
