Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro Backplate Disassembly
The backplate must be carefully removed for safe and proper access.
- Use a strong magnet to secure the magnets holding the backplate in place.
- Pry the backplate off using a flat-head screwdriver or plastic spudger, working from the top edge down.

- Remove the four 4.9mm Torx head screws from the camera plate on the phone's rear.
Step 2
Remove the 3.65 mm Torx head screws from the bottom of the phone.
Step 3
Insert a pin into the SIM card tray's access hole, located on the side of the phone.
Step 4
Use the Spudger to gently pry apart the phone from its backplate along the existing gap.
Step 5
Remove the backplate by gently pulling it away from the phone.
