Step 1 | Charging port

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws or release the pins holding the phone's back in place.

Step 2

Use the opening tool to carefully pry through the phone's outer casing.

Step 3

Remove the battery protector and disconnect the battery.

Carefully lift out the battery.

Step 4

Disconnect the battery connector.
Set aside other components to prevent damage.

Step 5

Use tweezers on the rework station to carefully separate the charging port from the panel.

Step 6

Remove the old charging part from the rework station.
Insert a new charging part into the rework station.
Secure the new charging part with tweezers.

Step 7

Reattach all components, making sure they are securely fastened in their designated positions.

Replace the battery and secure it with the battery bracket.
Reconnect any cables or connectors that were previously disconnected.
Close all compartments and ensure they are properly aligned before closing the phone case.
