How to Apply New 5G mmWave Antenna Adhesive in Your Google Pixel Fold

If you haven't already, follow this guide to remove the 5G mmWave antenna.

Step 1 | Remove the old adhesive

Locate the 5G mmWave antenna recess and note the position of the original adhesive.

Position your new adhesive near the original location, but slight misalignment is acceptable.
Use a spudger and tweezers to carefully remove any remaining old adhesive.

Step 2 | Apply the adhesive

Remove the protective liner from the adhesive strip.
Attach the adhesive strip to its designated spot on the frame.
Spudger or your fingers: Press down firmly for a tight seal.

Step 3 | Secure the antenna

Peel off the blue liners from the adhesive by gripping the pull tabs.

Insert the 5G mmWave antenna into its recess in the frame.
Press down on the antenna firmly to secure a tight seal with the adhesive.
