Ensure the suction cups remain aligned; if they shift out of position, detach and reposition the arms.
Insert an opening pick into the gap under the back glass.
Do not crank more than a quarter turn at a time — wait one minute between turns.
Apply a suction cup to the back glass, near its center and bottom edge.
Note: Super-strong adhesive may be used as last resort; however, this can damage future repairs.
Inserting the opening pick deeper than 3.5 mm can damage internal components.
Heat a iOpener and apply it to the left edge of the back glass for 2 minutes.
Insert the opening pick into the bottom left corner and rotate it slowly to pry apart the adhesive.
Insert the second opening pick into the bottom left corner.
Apply iOpener to top edge of back glass and heat for 2 minutes.
Insert an opening pick into the top left corner and rotate it to loosen the adhesive.
Heat the iOpener and apply it to the right edge of the back glass for 2 minutes.
The corner is extremely delicate — require great care.
Insert a fourth opening pick in the top right corner.
Be extremely cautious when handling this delicate area.
Do not fully remove the back glass yet as it is still connected by a cable.
Move the left edge of the back glass over the right edge of the phone.
Lay the back glass to the right side of the phone before proceeding.
Keep track of each screw for reinstallation.
Ensure the middle bracket's clip reinserts under its slot in the frame during reassembly.
Do not press down in the middle to avoid damaging the pins.
Remove the back glass.
Reusing back glass? Remove big chunks of adhesive from perimeter using tweezers.
Be cautious when handling strong solvents.
Use isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a lint-free cloth to remove residue.
The graphite sheet is fragile and lightly adhered; handle with care during peeling.
During reassembly: If you removed the graphite sheet, replace it according to the replacement guide. Otherwise, secure it using double-sided tape (e.g., Tesa Tape).
Remove the black screw cover using tweezers or a clean fingernail.
Remove the Torx Plus 3IP screws securing the bottom bracket using a corresponding driver.
Hold the tweezers or your fingers over the bottom bracket.
Ensure the bottom bracket clip is properly seated in the logic board slot before aligning the screw holes during reassembly.
Disconnect both battery packs from the phone.
Remove the grey conductive tape from the bottom interconnect cable.
Disconnect both cables carefully to prevent accidental electrical contact.
Apply conductive tape to the bottom interconnect connector, ensuring it bridges the logic board.
Press down the conductive tape using a spudger or your fingers.
Remove any tape that is securing the graphite sheet.
Be cautious when handling the graphite sheet.
Peel up the ultra wideband antenna and remove it.
Insert an opening pick under the edge of the graphite sheet to release the thermal insulator adhesive.
Remove the graphite sheet from the logic board.
Use tweezers to remove any remaining adhesive from the logic board.
Do not pry against the battery with a spudger — risk of damage.
During reassembly, if your adhesive is still intact and sticky, you can reuse it. Otherwise, refer to this guide for replacement instructions.

Remove the tape cover from the top interconnect cable.
Peel off new conductive tape from liner.
The press connector includes the metal bracket securing it, do not attempt to separate them.

Remove the two Torx Plus 3IP screws securing the middle bracket.
Push the top bracket towards the left edge of the phone to disengage its clips.
Locate the 5G mmWave antenna adhered to the frame.
If the adhesive is still intact during reassembly, reuse it. Otherwise, follow the guide for replacing the adhesive.
Alternatively, secure the 5G mmWave antenna with double-sided tape, such as Tesa Tape.
Remove the front camera from the phone's frame.
Use tweezers to grasp the front camera by its connector, as close to the camera body as possible.
Do not damage the press connector's pins.
If your original adhesive is still intact, you can reuse it during reassembly. Otherwise, refer to this guide for replacement instructions.
Remove the Torx Plus 3IP driver screws:
Avoid damaging the cables by folding them at sharp angles.
Insert the flat end of a spudger under the top of the logic board, near the front camera recess.
Be extremely cautious when handling the logic board, as it's fragile with many cutouts.
Remove excess thermal paste from the logic board bottom using a spudger's flat end.
When reapplying thermal paste, follow the guide to ensure proper application.
Insert the USB-C port into its cutout at a shallow angle.
Press the logic board into its lower metal clip as you push it towards the bottom edge.
Align the logic board bracket with the frame's edge and press it firmly into place.
Ensure all cables are above the logic board before installing it.
Apply caution when using high-heat methods.
Insert the flat end of a spudger between the bottom of the vibrator and the frame.
Use a tool to pry up and separate the base vibrator adhesive.
If reassembling and your adhesive is still intact and sticky, you can reuse it. Otherwise, proceed to replace with custom cut strips.
Move the flip battery and bottom interconnect cable away from the battery.
Avoid using sharp tools near the battery — risk of puncture or leakage.
Unfold the phone and flip it over.
The battery adhesive is extremely strong; handle with care.
Close your phone.
If you encounter trouble or risk damage, proceed to the alternate method below.
Puncturing or bending the battery can lead to chemical leaks or fires.
Apply a few drops of high concentration (>90%) isopropyl alcohol in the gap between the frame and the left edge of the battery.
Hold the phone at an angle, allowing isopropyl alcohol to drain under the battery.
Do not attempt to remove the battery until the adhesive has been fully softened.
Do not puncture or bend the battery, which can leak chemicals and cause a fire hazard.
Position the opening pick with its longest side along the gap.
Apply firm, steady pressure to the suction cup
Lift the battery out of its recess and remove it.
If your adhesive has dried up or lost adhesion, follow the replacement guide to install custom cut strips.
Alternatively, use double-sided tape, such as Tesa Tape, to secure the battery to the frame if you don't have custom cut adhesive strips.
Flip the phone over to expose the outer screen.
Avoid inserting the opening pick beyond the dark black border surrounding the screen.
Apply a suction cup to the screen near its center.
This step may be challenging depending on your phone's age; consider applying more heat for assistance if needed.
Alternatively, cover a badly cracked screen with clear packing tape to aid suction or use strong tape instead of a suction cup.
Heat a iOpener and apply it to the right edge of the screen for 2 minutes.
Insert an opening pick at the bottom right corner and rotate it to loosen the adhesive.
Apply a iOpener to the top edge of the screen and heat it for 2 minutes.
Insert the opening pick into the top right corner and gently rotate it to loosen the adhesive.
Insert a third opening pick in the top right corner.
Apply heat to the left edge of the screen with a iOpener for 2 minutes.
The sharp corner is prone to breakage.
Insert a fourth opening pick in the top left corner.
Be extremely gentle when handling the sharp corner, as it is prone to cracking.
Be careful when handling the adhesive — damage can occur if torn.
Apply iOpener to the top right corner of the screen for 2 minutes.
Insert an opening pick under the right edge of the screen, near the top right corner.
Careful not to break the screen during this step — risk of damage.
Do not remove the screen yet — it is still connected by a cable.
Swing the left edge of the screen over the right edge of the phone and let it rest next to it.
Remove the bottom bracket using tweezers or your fingers.
Do not pry against the battery.
When re-attaching, align and press down on one side until it clicks, then repeat on the other. Avoid pressing in the middle to prevent pin damage.
Position the point of a spudger at the bottom edge of the screen press connector.
Remove the screen.
The back of the outer screen is very fragile and can be damaged by even small scratches or dents.
During reassembly:
Careful use of isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a lint-free cloth removes any remaining adhesive residue.
Use double-sided tape, such as Tesa Tape, to secure the screen if custom cut adhesive strips are not available.
Remove the bottom interconnect cable press connector by gently prying it loose with a spudger.
Use a Torx Plus 3IP screwdriver to remove the 2.2 mm-long screw securing the lower board.
The phone has a magnet at the bottom right corner; it may stick to the nearby screw, so be careful.
Position the bottom interconnect cable aside using your fingers or tape with a gentle adhesive.
Slide the left edge of the board into its left alignment peg.
Screws may stick to the magnet while removing them.
Locate the flip vibrator on the underside of the top bracket.
When reassembling, insert the right edge of the top bracket under its lip before aligning screw holes.
Do not pry against the battery with a spudger — risk of damage.
During reassembly, use double-sided tape (like Tesa Tape) if you do not have custom cut adhesive strips or if the original adhesive is no longer usable.
Insert the flat end of spudger into the connector.
Press down gently with the spudger to release the interconnect cable.
Grasp the upper board and pull it towards the bottom of the phone.
During reassembly, ensure proper alignment by first installing the peg on the upper board before securing it in place.
Locate the detune board and its metal clip.
Excessive heat can damage display components and internal batteries.
Insert the flat end of a spudger between the frame and the bottom of the earpiece speaker.
Be careful not to damage the speaker or surrounding components — use gentle twisting motion.
Use an opening pick if additional assistance is needed, sliding it under the speaker for a more precise separation of adhesive.
Identify the earpiece speaker connector, which is mildly stuck to the .
When reassembling, if your original adhesive remains intact and sticky, you can reuse it. Otherwise, replace with custom cut strips or continue to follow this guide for alternatives.
Apply heat from an iOpener to the battery cable for 2 minutes.
Be careful not to damage the battery cable.
Be cautious when removing adhesive strips, especially those on the left edge.
Avoid using sharp tools that could puncture or bend the battery, as this may cause it to leak hazardous chemicals and/or catch fire.
Remove each stretch release adhesive strip at a low angle, giving it time to stretch and un-stick from under the battery.
Continue removing all six strips, taking care not to damage any components during the process.

Position the phone so that the left side is tilted upwards.
