If your screen doesn't come with pre-installed adhesive, you'll need replacement screen adhesive for the repair.
Note: This repair may compromise water resistance; reapplying rear cover adhesive is crucial to retaining it.

Slide the opening pick along the screen's edges to loosen the remaining adhesive.
Flip the screen over the right edge of your phone and secure it using the suction handle.
Use angled tweezers to gently lift the top edge of the screen cable bracket.
Careful handling is required around the screen's press connector to avoid damaging small surface-mounted components.
Screen damage can occur from minor scratches and dents.
Be extremely cautious when removing screen adhesive near fragile components.
Check if your replacement screen already has pre-installed adhesive.
Peel down the top half of the clear liner to expose the adhesive.
Do not remove the entire liner at this stage.
The adhesive is extremely sticky and cannot be moved after application.
Peel away the clear liner while slowly applying the remaining adhesive to the frame.
Press the flat end of a spudger firmly along the edges of the adhesive to bond it to the frame.
Use tweezers to grip the top left corner of the blue liner and carefully remove it.
If adhesive peels up with the liner, gently lay it back in place and use the flat end of a spudger to secure it.
Press the flat end of the spudger firmly around the perimeter of the adhesive to secure it to the frame.
Position the replacement screen with the display facing down beside the phone.
Be extremely careful not to strain the screen cable, as it may be damaged.
Do not press in the middle, as this can cause permanent damage to the pins.
Leave the perimeter display adhesive liners in place.
Be careful not to damage the screen during this process.
Only perform this step if the screen already has adhesive installed on its underside.
Remove the two remaining liners from the . For the right liner, carefully support the screen with one hand while using tweezers or your fingers to remove it.
Take care when flipping the screen — risk of damage to the LCD or frame.
Press firmly around the screen's perimeter to secure it in place.
