This repair may compromise water resistance. Proper reapplication of the rear cover adhesive is crucial for maintaining water resistance.
Allow the battery to drain below 25% to prevent potential fire hazard.
Locate the adhesive securing the rear cover to the frame.
Avoid inserting tools more than 3 mm under the rear cover to prevent damaging internal components.
Attach a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear cover, as close to the edge as possible.
Use firm pressure to pry the suction handle upwards.
Insert an opening pick at the bottom edge and gently slide it up, avoiding insertion beyond 3mm.
Slide the pick along the right edge to release any remaining adhesive.
Do not attempt to fully remove the rear cover yet.
Remove the two Torx Plus 3IP screws using a Torx Plus 3IP screwdriver.
Remove the cable cover using tweezers or your fingers.
Insert the spudger into the connector gap at an angle, then gently pry up and release.
Be cautious not to damage the surrounding plastic or electrical components.
Remove the rear cover.
Use the tip of a spudger or your fingers to carefully peel back the piece of tape near the left edge of your phone.
Remove the Torx Plus 3IP screwdriver and use it to loosen the two 5.2 mm screws securing the wireless charging cable cover.
Remove the cover using tweezers or your fingers.
Careful not to damage the press-connector.
Use the point of a spudger to carefully pry up the ultra-wideband press connector.
Remove the Torx Plus 3IP screwdriver and unscrew the two 2.2 mm screws securing the wireless charging assembly.
Disconnect and remove the wireless charging assembly.
Disconnect the battery press connector by prying it up with a spudger.
Remove the Torx Plus 3IP screw securing the mmWave antenna cover with a Torx Plus 3IP screwdriver. The screw is 5.2 mm long.

Remove the phone cover by gently pulling its right edge toward the bottom.
Risk of damage — use a spudger carefully.
Use the point of a spudger to carefully pry up and release the front facing camera press connector.
Avoid touching the cameras during this step; if accidentally touched, clean with a microfiber cloth.
Remove the mmWave antenna using tweezers or your fingers.
Remove the two Torx Plus 3IP screws using the corresponding driver, located on the top left corner of the device.
Remove the cover with tweezers or your bare fingers.
Locate the autofocus sensor press connector in the top left corner of the phone.
Slide one arm of your angled tweezers under the metal neck of the antenna connector.
Gently lift straight up to disconnect it — risk of damage if not done carefully.
If the connector does not snap into place, reposition the head and try again to avoid damaging it.
Remove the standoff screw from the bottom right corner of the logic board using a standoff screwdriver.
Use a spudger to carefully pry up the top edge of the logic board.
When reassembling, hold the front facing camera cable out of the way to prevent damage.
Check the condition of the logic board thermal pad, located either on the bottom of the logic board or the .
Thermal pad residue requires removal with isopropyl alcohol (>90%) and a microfiber cloth to prevent damage.
Apply a new thermal pad to the frame in its designated spot.
Be cautious not to damage any small surface-mounted components when disconnecting cameras.
Flip the logic board over with the bottom facing up.
Hold the logic board firmly with one hand.
During reassembly, ensure all cables are correctly positioned to avoid damage: camera cables on underside of logic board and autofocus sensor cable on top.
Check if replacement rear cameras have an autofocus sensor attached.
Do not apply excessive heat — plastic may warp.
Apply a heated iOpener to top of rear cameras to loosen adhesive securing autofocus sensor.
Alternatively, lightly heat sensor with hair dryer, but be careful to avoid overheating.
Insert the flat end of a spudger into the bottom right corner near the cable.
Locate and carefully remove the autofocus sensor using your fingers.
Remove the clear plastic liner from the replacement autofocus sensor adhesive.
Avoid touching the camera lenses during this step.
