Let the phone battery drain to 25% or less before proceeding.
Apply a suction cup near the center of the bottom edge.
Strong tape or superglue may be used as alternatives if initial attempts fail.
Do not insert the opening pick deeper than 3mm to avoid damaging internal components.
Slide your pick around the top right corner, stopping just before the front camera.
Retract the opening pick to expose only the tip.
Risk damage to the display cable if you proceed further.
Insert the opening pick into the gap between the glass and screen, rotating it around the bottom left corner at a 2 mm depth.
Keep track of each screw and ensure it returns to its original location.
Never mix up screws during reassembly — risk of incorrect installation and damage.
Apply conductive tape to secure the display cable bracket to the frame.
Use the point of a spudger to gently pry up and release the display cable press connector.
Remove the screen from the frame.
Secure the battery connector bracket using conductive tape to the lower board.
Use the pointed tip of a spudger to carefully pry up and release the battery press connector.
Remove the two Torx Plus 3IP screws using the corresponding driver.
Remove the bottom interconnect cable bracket using tweezers or your fingers.
Do not touch any other areas with the spudger — risk of damage.
Insert a SIM eject tool or straightened paper clip into the SIM card tray hole.
Hold the bottom interconnect cable away from the repair area.
Use the spudger to carefully lift the top right corner of the lower board.
Proceed with reassembling your device.
Press the lower board's bottom edge against the frame at a 45° angle to engage its metal spring.
Hold the lower board firmly in place and reinsert the SIM card tray.
Reattach the bottom interconnect cable by pressing its connector firmly in place.
Align the bottom interconnect cable bracket with the lower board's screw holes.
Install the Torx Plus 3IP driver.
Reattach the flip battery press connector.
Position the flip battery bracket over the press connector, ensuring alignment of the screw holes.
Apply the Torx Plus 3IP driver for installing the 2.0 mm-long screw.
Check if the outer screen adhesive at the bottom left corner has lost its stickiness.
Check that the bottom left corner of the outer screen adhesive is properly aligned with the . Ensure the clear liner is facing towards the .
Peel bottom left outer screen adhesive from its clear liner, exposing the adhesive.
Press the adhesive strip onto the frame with the flat end of a spudger.
Check if perimeter outer screen adhesive matches frame.
Work carefully when handling the adhesive to avoid incorrect placement.
Position the adhesive so that the top edge aligns with the top half of the frame.
Press the adhesive's top edge onto the using the flat end of a spudger or your fingers.
Slowly lay the remaining adhesive over the phone's perimeter while removing the rest of the clear liner.
Press down the remaining adhesive using the flat end of a spudger, or your fingers.
Insert the spudger into the bottom left corner of the large blue liner and gently pry up the segmented tab.
Lift the tab and remove the large blue liner.
Reattach the outer screen cable bracket clip to the frame, ensuring the screw hole is aligned.
Install the Torx Plus 3IP driver and secure the 2.2 mm-long screw holding the display cable bracket in place.
Remove the blue liner from the bottom left outer screen adhesive strip.
Peel off the secondary liner, exposing the adhesive while still holding the screen.
Place the outer screen onto the frame, ensuring proper alignment.
Press the outer screen along its perimeter to adhere it to the frame.
Use a hair dryer or heat gun to lightly heat edges if necessary, but be cautious of overheating.
Allow the phone to sit for several hours as the adhesive cures.
