Google Pixel 8a Battery Replacement

Lithium-ion batteries have a limited lifespan and may need replacement if your phone doesn't hold a charge or dies unexpectedly.

  • Note: If your battery is swollen, take appropriate precautions before proceeding with the repair.

You'll need to acquire the following parts to complete this repair: a replacement battery, back cover, and flash unit adhesives.

Any repair may compromise the water resistance of your phone. Proper reapplication of the back cover adhesive is crucial to retaining water resistance after the repair.

Step 1 | Prepare your Pixel for disassembly
