Remove all old adhesive and residue from the battery frame.

  • Use a spudger's flat end to scrape away old adhesive.
  • If necessary, apply a few drops of 90% isopropyl alcohol to loosen adhesive.

Be careful not to leave any residue on the frame — it can affect battery performance.
