Google Pixel 7 Camera Glass Replacement

Step 1 | Camera Glass

Avoid burns: heat the camera glass carefully with a hair dryer.

  • Hold the hair dryer a few inches away from the camera lens.
  • Heat for about 10 seconds to soften the adhesive.

Step 2 | Remove the Damaged Glass

Be extremely careful when handling broken glass to avoid injury.

  • Remove the broken glass cover using a sharp knife.
  • Carefully clean the camera lenses with a microfiber cloth, taking extra care around any remaining glass fragments.

Step 3 | Insert the Replacement Glass

Caution: Replacing the glass may lead to issues, such as cloudy images due to the new adhesive.

  • Install the new glass with the adhesive side facing up.
  • Avoid positioning the adhesive near the camera lens to prevent blurry images.

Step 4 | Apply Full-Surface Protective Glass Cover

Apply a full-surface glass protector, ensuring it adheres evenly to prevent dust accumulation.

  • Check for air bubbles or dust particles trapped between the protector and device/camera glass.
  • Smooth out any imperfections with a soft cloth if necessary.
