Insert the pick no deeper than ~2.5 mm to prevent damaging your phone.
Insert an opening pick at the bottom right corner of the screen and slide it along the adhesive to cut it.
Do not remove the opening pick until the repair is complete, as resealing can occur if left unattended.
Leave the opening pick in place to prevent resealing of the adhesive.
Insert the third opening pick at the bottom left screen corner.
Reheat the adhesive with an iOpener or heat gun for 1-2 minutes if it's hard to cut.
Slide the opening pick along the top edge to slice the adhesive, leaving it in place at the top right corner to prevent resealing.
Insert a fifth opening pick and slide it along the right edge of the phone.
The screen is still connected via a flex cable, so do not remove the display yet.
Hold the right edge of the screen and lift it upwards, towards the left side.
Avoid twisting the screen and don't move it too far from the frame to prevent damaging the flex cable.
Insert one tweezers arm into the opening at the upper end of the display cable bracket.
Use tweezers to gently pull the display cable bracket out from under the midframe towards the camera area.
Disconnect the display flex cable by prying its connector straight up with a spudger.
