Allow your battery to discharge to less than 25% charge before proceeding, as a fully charged battery can pose a risk of fire during the repair process.
Remove the Google Pixel 7 Pro screen by prying at the bezel seam, where the plastic bezel meets the frame.
Be cautious not to insert picks too deeply, as this can block them or damage surrounding components.
For optimal results, utilize the Anti-Clamp as instructed in its dedicated guide.
Tape can be applied to ensure a secure grip if the surface is too slippery.
Ensure suction cups remain aligned with each other throughout the process. If they begin to slip out of alignment, loosen them slightly and realign the arms to avoid damage.
Apply heat from an iOpener to the Anti-Clamp
Proceed with care, as extreme heat can damage the display and/or internal battery.
Position the iOpener on the bottom edge of the phone.
If insufficient gap, apply more heat and rotate Anti-Clamp handle clockwise half a turn.
Never apply excessive heat — risk of damage.
Apply a suction handle to the bottom edge of the screen when it's warm to the touch.
Be cautious of heat damage and potential electrical shock when working on the screen.
Insert an opening pick into the created gap.
Insert pick no more than 2.5 mm deep when separating screen adhesive.
Position the opening pick at the bottom right corner of the screen and slide it along the edge to cut through the adhesive.
Insert a second opening pick at the bottom edge and slide it to the bottom left corner of the screen.
Be careful not to push too hard, as there's a plastic clip that may block the opening pick.
Leave the pick in place to prevent resealed adhesive.
Reheat the adhesive with your iOpener or heat gun for 1-2 minutes if it's become hard to cut.
When slicing near the front-facing camera, only insert the tip of the opening pick (~2.5 mm) to avoid damage or smearing.
Insert a fifth opening pick and slide it along the right edge of the phone.
Do not attempt to remove the display at this stage — the screen remains connected via a flex cable.
Lift the right edge of the screen up and towards the left side.
Avoid twisting the screen or moving it too far, as this may strain or damage the flex cable.
Some force is required to release the display cable bracket.
Remove the display cable bracket using a pair of tweezers.
Careful alignment required to prevent pin bending.
Fragile screen: small scratches or dents can cause damage.
