Discharge battery below 25% before disassembly to prevent thermal event.
Swollen batteries require special precautions.
Warning: Pixel 6 Pro contains Class 1 lasers, exposure to infrared emissions possible during disassembly.
Note: Repair will remove IP rating, reapply adhesive carefully to maintain water resistance.
A charged battery can catch fire if damaged.
Using a cracked screen may compromise the integrity of the repair.
Check the guide on using the Anti-Clamp for detailed instructions.
Lock the arms by pulling the blue handle forward.
Heat an iOpener and insert it through the Anti-Clamp's arms.
Be cautious with heat, as excessive temperatures can damage the display or internal battery.
If no sufficient gap forms, apply more heat and rotate the Anti-Clamp's handle clockwise half a turn.
Apply an iOpener to the screen and let it heat for at least 3 minutes.
Alternatively, use a hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate, but avoid overheating the device.
Warm the screen to a comfortable temperature before proceeding.
Be careful when inserting an opening pick into the gap to avoid damaging the screen's safety frame.
Slide a second opening pick along the bottom edge, working towards the bottom right corner.
Make sure the first pick remains in place to avoid the adhesive re-sealing.
When using an opening pick, only insert the tip (~3-4 mm) under the screen to slice display adhesive.
Reheat the adhesive with an iOpener or heat gun for 1-2 minutes if it becomes hard to cut.
Insert a fifth opening pick along the right edge of the phone.
Do not remove the display yet, as the screen is still connected.
Strain on the display cable can damage it.
When working with screws, apply constant downward force to prevent stripping.
Keep track of each screw and ensure it goes back exactly where it was removed from.
Remove the metal bracket from the display cable connector using a pair of tweezers.
Keep this component for reinstallation later.
Disconnect the display flex cable using a spudger. Pry the connector straight up from its socket.
Handle the Pixel's screen with care as it is easily damaged by scratches or dents.
Remove the screen.
Test your phone before sealing it up by temporarily connecting the screen, powering on, and verifying functionality.
Do not apply direct heat to the battery, as it may suffer heat damage or trigger a thermal event.
Careful not to puncture or bend the battery as it may leak hazardous chemicals or cause thermal damage.
Use blunt nose tweezers or a clean fingernail to carefully peel black graphite film from top right battery corner.
The graphite film may cool down and become hard to remove, so reapply heat for 1-2 minutes if necessary.
Remove the Torx T3 screwdriver and take out the two 3IP Torx Plus screws securing the charging port metal bracket.
Remove the charging port bracket using a pair of tweezers.
Keep this component for later reinstallation.
Remove the Motherboard Cover using a Torx T3 Screwdriver.
Remove the motherboard cover using tweezers or your fingers.
Use a spudger to pry the battery cable connector straight up from its socket.
Remove the earpiece speaker by using a Torx T3 screwdriver to take out the two 3.3 mm Torx Plus screws.
Insert the spudger under the bottom left edge of the earpiece speaker.
Remove the earpiece speaker using a pair of tweezers or your fingers.
Use a spudger to gently pry the front camera cable connector straight up out of its socket.
Remove the front camera using your fingers or a pair of tweezers.
