Ensure your device is powered off before commencing repair.
Carefully review the following notes before proceeding:
Apply a heated iOpener to the right edge of the display for one minute to soften the adhesive.
Identify and mark the black clips' optimal entry points on either side of the bezel using a pair of opening picks.
Use clear packing tape or strong tape to aid suction if display is badly cracked.
Lift the suction cup towards the right edge of the screen with steady force until a small gap forms between the bezel and midframe.
Locate the plastic clips holding the bezel to the midframe.
Be cautious not to apply too much pressure and damage the device's casing.
Insert the opening pick tip into the bezel seam, approximately 3-4 cm below the top edge of the phone.
Insert the opening pick into the bezel seam at the top of the phone.
Insert the opening pick tip into the bezel seam at the bottom of the phone.
If difficulties are encountered, slide the pick along the bottom right corner until there is sufficient gap to continue.
Insert the opening pick into the bezel seam on the left side, approximately 2 cm from the bottom.
Insert the opening pick approximately 1.18 in (3-4 cm) below the front-facing camera.
Detach all clips.
Remove the screw securing the screen connector bracket using a T3 Torx driver.
Remove the screen connector bracket with a pair of tweezers.
Careful alignment is crucial when reconnecting a screen flex cable.
Do not press down in the middle of the connector, as this may cause permanent damage to the pins if misaligned.
Fragile screen: small scratches/dents can cause damage.
Remove the screen from the phone.
During reassembly, follow guidelines for applying new custom-cut adhesive or using Tesa tape to ensure proper installation.
Do not touch the screen during the boot-up calibration sequence to prevent improper touch calibration and potential touch issues.
Use a T3 Torx driver to remove six screws: four 4.6 mm, one 4.0 mm, and one 2.0 mm.
Mixing up screws can damage components or cause further repair issues.
Insert the pointed end of a spudger into the gap between the phone case and the black plastic cover, located at the bottom left.
Push the spudger's pointed end towards the left to separate the plastic cover fully from the midframe.
Take out the plastic cover from the midframe.
Use tweezers to carefully lift the tape covering the two screws.

Take extra care not to misplace them, as they can be easily lost.
Hold the spudger firmly and use its flat end to gently pry up on the battery connector.
Prepare the area by applying 2-3 drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) under each battery corner.
Careful not to puncture or bend the battery, as this may cause a leak or fire.
