Asus ZenFone 5 MicroSD Card Replacement
Make sure you replace the faulty MicroSD card with a new one of the same capacity and speed.
- You'll need a pin or similar thin tool to access the small hole on the phone's back.
- If you don't have a suitable pin, a household item like a thumbtack or needle may also work.
Step 1 | MicroSD Card
Remove the phone case to access both sides.
Identify the MicroSD card slot, located on the left edge with a small opening, when the phone's screen is facing upwards.

Press the safety pin into the hole until a button is activated.
- Pull the pin out, and the cartridge should be released.
- Gently remove the MicroSD card.
