Use a thin plastic tool to pry the back cover off, starting at one edge.
Keep the cover and phone close together to avoid damaging the connecting band between the touch sensor and motherboard.
Remove the seven Phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the phone.
The screw covered by a white "CS" sticker can be removed with the sticker still attached; pierce through the sticker with your screwdriver and proceed normally.
Hold down the charging port circuit board with one finger.
Locate the plastic prying tool and place it on the left side of the charging port.
Force may be needed to detach the vibration motor, which is secured by adhesive.
Remove the two small screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Locate and remove five small black screws from the bottom black section of the phone using a small screwdriver.
Remove the two small silver colored screws from the same black area of the phone using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Remove the small black clip securing the battery to the motherboard.
Remove the front screen connector using the iFixit opening tool.
Remove the yellow tape from the aluminum shell using a pair of small tweezers.
Use a suction cup to carefully lift the front screen.
If stuck, use picks to gently pry it free.
Replace the screen and reassemble your device as normal.
