Asus Zenfone 4 Max Battery Replacement
Replacing the battery requires great care.
- Check if your Asus Zenfone 4 Max's issue is indeed a malfunctioning battery.
- If confirmed, proceed with replacing the battery with a new one.
Step 1 | Battery
Use a removable head screwdriver with a T3 bit.
- Remove the two screws situated on either side of the charging port.
Step 2
- Gently place an opening tool between the phone and the back casing.
- Movements the opening tool up and down to pry the back away from the device.
Step 3
- Remove the bottom panel using an AT3 bit
Step 4
Remove the bottom panel.
Step 5
Insert a wedge-shaped opening tool between the battery and the phone.
- Pry the battery gently out of the device.
- For easier removal, move the opening tool to either side or the bottom of the battery.
Step 6
- Disconnect the old battery.
- Install the new battery in its place.
