Use tweezers to gently remove the SIM card tray and place it aside.

Remove the two Torx T2 screws with a Torx T2 screwdriver.

Risk of damage to screen or other components if force is applied incorrectly.

• Insert a prying tool between the screen and metal backing at the bottom.
• Fold the two pieces apart with the inside facing up. The thin film will remain intact, no further action needed.

• Remove the two 3 mm screws located on the silver band at the top of the battery.
• Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver for this task.
• After removing the screws, remove the silver band.

Remove the silver tape by peeling it back.

Remove the battery connectors.

• Pry the battery away from its mounting point.

• Be gentle when prying due to adhesive on the underside.

Remove the bottom panel screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

• Locate and remove all three 3mm screws at the bottom of the device.

Remove the black piece.

Disconnect the wires.

Use the pry tool to carefully lift the circular piece.

• Continue prying until the board comes loose.
• Once removed, set it aside for reassembly later.
