Asus Zenfone 3 Max SIM Card Replacement

Careful handling of the SIM card slot is required due to its delicate nature.

  • Use a iFixit 150mm Flex Extension tool with a Hex 0.7 bit, or a SIM card eject tool, or any small, thin pointed object (e.g., a pin or paperclip) to access the SIM card.

SIM card slot on the upper left side of your Asus Zenfone Max 3.

Insert the iFixit 150mm Flex Extension with a Hex 0.7 bit or SIM card eject tool into the SIM card slot hole.

Gently pry open the SIM card slot using the inserted tool.

Remove the SIM card completely from the phone.

  • Eject the SIM card by pulling it out of its tray.
