Asus Padfone X Mini Speaker Replacement

Look for the groove on the bottom right side corner of the phone.

  • Use a plastic opening tool to lift up and remove the outside cover.

    • Note: This is not the cover with the attached speaker.

Remove the battery by lifting it out from the top of the device.

  • Remove the T5 Torx screws (10) around the perimeter.
  • Take out the screws and remove the cover.

Step 4

Flip the cover over.

  • The speaker is located on the inside, next to the camera hole.

Step 5

Use tweezers to carefully remove the speaker from the circuit board.

  • Take care to avoid damaging the speaker or its connections.
  • Replace the speaker once removed.
