Step 1 | Remove the Back Panel
Use caution: incorrect use of power source.
- Insert thumb into charging port.
- Pry off back cover carefully.
Step 2 | Remove the Back Panel
Use a T5 Torx screwdriver to remove all screws.
- Lift the back panel off the phone.
Step 3 | Remove the Battery
Remove the battery from the logic board using tweezers.
- Lift the battery up from its slot with a plastic opening tool.
- Apply consistent, steady force to remove the battery. Be careful not to damage it.
Step 4 | Disconnect the Logic Board
Careful not to damage wiring.
- Remove all wires and bands from the microphone.
- Disconnect wires from the SIM card port.
- Release any retaining bands or clips from the side buttons.
Step 5 | Remove the Logic Board
- Remove the remaining band from the logic board.
