Asus Padfone 2 Vibrator Replacement

Step 1 | Power Down Device

Press and hold the power button

Step 2 | Remove Back Plate

Remove the back cover with a plastic opening tool.

Step 3 | Battery Removal

Remove the warning sticker covering the battery plug and cord.

Lift the battery out of its gap, starting with the widest gap on either side, using a plastic opening tool.

The battery is held in place by adhesive; be careful not to damage it or the connecting cord.

Use tweezers to disconnect the battery connecting cord.

Step 4 | Remove Internal Back Plate

Remove the internal back plate using a T5 Torx screwdriver.

Take care to keep track of all screws, and use a magnetic pad if available.
Once all screws are removed, carefully lift off the internal back plate.

Step 5 | Removal of A68 Vibrator

Remove the motor from its housing using tweezers, gently pulling the plug downwards.

Disconnect the motor's wiring from the circuit board using tweezers.
