Asus Padfone 2 Battery Replacement

Step 1 | Power off phone

Press and hold the power button until the device shuts down.

Step 2 | Remove back cover of phone

Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry off the back cover.

Step 3 | Battery Removal

Never touch the capacitor terminals — risk of electric shock.

Remove the warning sticker that covers the battery plug and connecting cord.

Lift the battery out carefully using a plastic opening tool, starting from the widest gap on either side.
The battery is secured with adhesive — be mindful not to damage it or the connected cord.
Use tweezers to disconnect the battery connecting cord.
