Samsung Galaxy Note Vibrator Replacement

Grasp the stylus cap and pull it out from the midframe.

Prise open the phone using a plastic spudger or your fingertip, at the small indentation beside the rear-facing camera, close to the volume control.

Lift and remove the rear case.

Insert your finger into the notch at the top of the battery compartment.

• Press the battery toward the rear-facing camera.
• Pull the battery outward to release it.

• Press the microSD card into its slot with a spudger or your fingernail using the flat end until you hear a click.
• Release the card, and it will eject from the slot.
• For reassembly, push the microSD card back into the slot until it clicks in place.

Remove microSD card from its slot in the midframe.

Push the SIM card out of its compartment using a plastic opening tool or your fingernail.

Use your thumb to push the SIM card all the way out, then lift it completely free from the device.

Remove the nine 3.4 mm Phillips #00 screws.

• The screws secure the midframe to the display assembly.
• Remove them all for continued progress.

Position the plastic opening tool to the left of the power button, between the midframe and the front panel assembly.

• Pry gently with the plastic opening tool.

Position the plastic opening tool at the seam and slide it downwards.

Insert plastic opening tool to the left of headphone jack between midframe and display assembly.

• Slide tool along top edge of phone.
• Run tool around perimeter of phone until midframe is separated.

Remove the midframe from the display assembly.

Disconnect the display cable connector with a flat-ended spudger.

• Disconnect the front-facing camera assembly cable using a spudger.
• Remove the headphone jack/earpiece speaker assembly cable connector.
• Release the digitizer cable from its connector.

• Use a spudger to release the soft button cable connector.
• Disconnect the USB board cable connector with a spudger.
• Separate the antenna cable connector from its socket.

Remove the two 3.4 mm Phillips #00 screws that secure the motherboard to the display assembly.

Remove the motherboard assembly from the display assembly.

Insert the spudger tip into the gap between the vibrator connector cable and the contacts, sliding it gently towards the vibrator.

Insert the flat end of a spudger under the vibrator connector cable, then gently pry it up from its adhesive.

Remove the vibrator from the display assembly.
