Samsung Galaxy Note Front Facing Camera Assembly Replacement

Grasp the stylus cap and pull it out of its position in the midframe.

Use a plastic opening tool, or carefully insert your fingertip, into the recess to the right of the rear-facing camera.

Remove the rear case by lifting it off the phone.

Insert finger into the notch on the battery compartment.

• Press the battery towards the rear facing camera.
• Pull the battery outward.

Press the microSD card gently with a spudger or fingernail to seat it fully.

• Verify seating with a distinct click.
• Release the card for easy removal.

Be cautious not to push too hard, which can damage the slot.

For reassembly:

• Pull out the microSD card and then press it back into its slot.
• Verify seating with a distinct click once it's securely seated.

Locate and remove the microSD card from its slot on the midframe.

Push the SIM card out of its compartment using a plastic opening tool or your fingertip.

• Use your thumb to slide the SIM card further out.
• Once exposed, carefully remove the SIM card from the device.

Remove nine 3.4 mm Phillips #00 screws that secure the midframe to the display assembly.

Insert the plastic opening tool to the left of the power button, between the midframe and the front panel assembly.

• Pry carefully between the two parts.

Insert the plastic opening tool along the seam.

Insert plastic opening tool to the left of headphone jack.

• Slide tool along top edge of phone.
• Continue running tool around phone's perimeter.
• Midframe should separate from display assembly.

Remove the midframe from the display assembly.

Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the headphone jack/earpiece speaker assembly cable connector.

Remove the two 3 mm Phillips #00 screws securing the upper display assembly bracket.

Remove the upper display assembly bracket using a pair of tweezers, or your fingers.

Use tweezers or your fingers to carefully remove the front-facing camera assembly.
