Step 3
- Carefully position the opening tool—referred to as the Jimmy—into the right-hand edge of the device; avoid centering the tool, as this may result in damage to the display glass or the home button.

To maintain the display at the angle illustrated in figure 3 during the repair, position a small container beneath it for support.
Step 4
To prevent potential damage to the screen's backlight, disconnect the battery connector prior to detaching the display.
Step 5
- Detach the component.Carefully detach the display, noting that it is secured with screws and potentially adhesive.Secure with three additional screws.After removing it, disconnection can proceed.Three cables are required..

Step 6
Using a Y000 screwdriver, detach the screw located adjacent to the Taptic Engine to free the bracket.
Step 7
- Sever the electrical connection.Carefully maneuver the identified flexible cables and subsequently apply pressure.Use the provided tool to release the SIM card tray.Carefully position the component within the frame's boundaries.
